Two of the chicks have gone a wandering off camera - it looks like it is less sunny in Brandon now so no need to park in the shade ...

Moving the camera and seeing move would be interesting and if it did bother my I just would not look.  It is not like you are moving it constantly.  This only happens once in awhile.  It is nice having the different views.

All three chicks are parked in the south-east corner of the roof - they are in the sun and among the vegetation.

I can understand why you would move the picture when using the cam to look around.  Sometimes when it is very windy and the Radisson cam is shaking, I get dizzy and can only watch for short periods.  That said, if you are moving the cam slowly, shouldn't be a problem watching and would be interesting to see.

RCF has asked if it is necessary that I switch to the nestbox cam when trying to locate the chicks on the McKenzie Seeds rooftop.  We do so because between the lag time between here and Brandon the cam moves in such a way that many viewers find it difficult to watch.  I also understand that some viewers would like to watch these moves so I will try to split the difference.  Because we can't warn folks when we are moving, long moves will get switched, shorter or slower sweeps I will try to keep viewable.  Warning, there is usually alot of zoom in/zoom out so that we can make fine adjustments to counter the angle of the sun or reflection off the roof.

Have to spin the cam around to look for the chicks ... don't want to make folks sick (some do) so am switching to the box cam for a couple of minutes ...

I see that a photo of me is in Dennis's gallery for banding day.  While he was distracted taking my photo he really should have been ducking!

Yes! Great photo of Dennis with his camera & a PF flying overhead, RCF! 8)

Sorry...work and life along with to many photos to process has been delaying loading photos. On the good side a few more photos of the Brandon Banding have been added with more to come.

Yes, as everyone now knows the Brandon chicks had the transmitters installed today and there will be a gallery...I will try to explain with photos the best I can what takes place.
I know that there is divided feelings on this...but just don't " Hang " the photographer.

Cheers !
