Radisson - 2013 / Ivy & Princess
susha:
Wings on the ledge edge-sitter still seem pretty heavy...not ready yet I'm guessing... :-\
The Peregrine Chick:
Both kids are safe and sound and are up and watching the world - one on the drain cover, on on the ledge edge.
Jazzerkins:
Rad and Sunny are good for me unless something more appropriate comes along.
The Peregrine Chick:

Will Rad and Winnie ever get names or is this only if they are banded?

I don't have a problem naming the chicks even if they don't get banded but probably best to see if they have any particular personality traits that might make their naming more memorable rather than just convenient. And at the moment, we assume they are a male and a female based on size but considering that both the chicks are still on the ledge and it is Day 40 today. Often male chicks leave before 40, but the longer the better as they get stronger each day and hopefully more able to stay out of trouble when they do take their first flights!!
Note - we won't be calling any chicks Winnie as I realize that one of our first out-of-province nesters was a Winnie - she was in Omaha, Nebraska with Zeus at the Woodmen Building and typically produced 5 eggs a year! Figure it would do her a disservice if we named another chick by the same name!

How about "Rad" and "Sunny"? ;)
