Cooper:
Well, someone was out stretching their wings. I've been feeling rather cheated that while I've been walking about downtown on most days, I had rarely seen the Radisson birds. But I was finally rewarded - saw someone fly up to the very tip top of that contraption on the Hydro building about 1:00 p.m.. Couldn't tell who it was with my old eyes, but was happy to see him/her.

irenekl:
Tracy I am wondering how long you think the two eggs were on the nestledge?  When you saw them was that also your first look at the nestledge this year?  Do you have an approximate idea when they were laid?  Is the timing such that you are expecting a third egg anytime now?

Pam:
This is one of the few times I (almost) regret not being at work!!  Had such a good view of the ledge....

The Peregrine Chick:
1048h

Think the window cleaners are going to wait out the snow ...

The Peregrine Chick:
1012h

Think it is Ivy on the nestledge standing guard over the eggs - the breast looks too large and white to be the female (whomever she might be).  Why guarding, he doesn't really need to except that there is alot of window-cleaning going on in downtown Winnipeg right now - the CanWest Global Building at Portage & Main (sorry, can't remember what its new name is now) as well as the Kensington Building.  Depending on how frisky the birds are in the snow (yes, it is snowing in Winnipeg right now) and/or how protective they are of their two rust-coloured-bundles-of-aggravation, the Kensington cleaners might have some "company" because they are using a lift rather than bosun's chairs.  Could be fun to watch ...  ;D
