Breezy and spitting is tolerable ... gravel is damp around Princess but she's got her head into the wall and she looks sound asleep with only a little ruffle of her feathers and an occasional gusty breeze doing more than that ...

The Peregrine Chick:
Looks like the gravel on the east side of the building is getting damp - anyone working downtown? Can you confirm that it is raining? Looking at the west side of the building, the edge of the nestbox is still dry ...
The Peregrine Chick:
Thought I would get his over quickly ... forecast for the next couple of days ...

Saturday
* Day - Overcast with a chance of rain in the morning, then partly cloudy. High of 15C. Windy. Winds from the North at 20 to 30 km/h.
* Night - Clear. Low of 3C. Breezy. Winds from the North at 10 to 20 km/h.
Sunday
* Day - Clear. High of 17C. Winds less than 5 km/h.
Two thoughts that come to mind:
1) if its rainy and windy, might mean more rain blown around than falling down on a small nestledge
2) looking at how much rain is being expected when, it seems pretty consistent - bit more this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon but otherwise spread out
- in 2008, all the rain (about what we are expecting over the next few days) fell between 0430 and 1200 on one day.
