McKenzie Seeds - 2012 / Brooklyn & Hurricane
RCF:
Just talked to Rose and she said Hurricane is on the eggs now. ;D
RCF:
From my laptop downtown Brandon......They are fine, one is perched on the south light and I just saw one perched on the nest box ledge. All is quite here at the McKenzie building. ;)

You may be right about that, rcf. And as you say, 3 is great! :D
ballywing:
Ok sounds good, I will stop all this fretting then! ;D :P
The Peregrine Chick:

This early in incubation and warm and they should be fine. Hurricane isn't spending much time on the eggs yet, which for her is unusual. I'm still thinking that there might be one more egg to come though it needs to come soon. As for other things going on, there hasn't been any noises nearby and both birds appear uninjured and although not velcroed to the eggs, neither (when I've seen them) seems wildly disturbed. Last year was very wet and cold and the cam came on past the start of incubation in Brandon, so we don't really know what this pair's style is like in a normal year. They have been on the eggs when its been wet/foggy/damp and off the eggs when its warm and dry - that's normal behaviour generally speaking. If there were disturbances, they would both be off the eggs more ...
Its just a wait and watch here folks ...
