I think Ivy just dropped by with a snack.  Miss Red just wasn't aggressive enough to take it from him perhaps, because after a very short while, he lew off with the prey.   Maybe one of the out and about chicks will be more grateful.

it is so easy every year to get so attached to the chicks.

This is my first post and I'm hoping it's in the correct format.

This is also my first year watching the nesting and I'm hooked. Pense, you are right, it is So easy to get attached. I was trying to encourage Red this morning because she looked  close at times.  I was on the edge of my seat. Of course, my cat was also watching but I think she and me were not on the same page on this matter.  :o

And it's great to hear all four chicks are accounted for.
I was also doing the same thing this morning as well and any other time that I see her do her wing thing with her wings. This as well is my first year watching the falcons from Winnipeg and Brandon as well. Before I moved here I was watching the falcons grow up in Edmonton and I have noticed some differences in the parentings. I don't think that your cat was on the same page either. She/he was looking at probably more like breakfast lol.

Glad it was confirmed that 4 are back at Radisson. Last nite I was sure from seeing 3 peregrines fly, 2 adults and one fledgling, that there was one camping out on the roof. We saw one fledgling camped out on the MTS centre around 8:30am to 9:00am and I think this ended up being the one on the green line under the Radisson sign. Between the one on the roof, the one on the swoosh and the 2 on the ledge, the parents were kept busy making food drops at one point as they all seemed to get hungry at one time. It was a great 6 hrs, although a little stomach dropping at times when some serious wingersizing was going on but no fledging by our Jubilee. She might go yet today.

No, it is Miss Red doing the curious head under the louvre manouvre.  She now seems to have decided that the ledge is overrated and has returned to the nest box.

TB is in the next to cam position, so only his antenna is occasionally in view.

Interesting to watch..There now, just put your head under this louvre thingie and instant shade!

It is hard to believe that flattening his breast on that ledge concrete could be a cooling technique.

I also saw a little check upwards as if to ask his brother about the hear on the roof.

since Princess & Ivy spent most of the evening either perched on the roof or tower of the Radisson, or flying around very close in the area above the Radisson.
You were lucky to see them so much last night, KC!  It was few and far between today.
