I'm never sure which cam to leave "up" - the ledge cam helps to see if anyone came by but no detail - the box, you can see detail but only of the box.

Maybe today we'll watch the box ...

Went back to the recordings here - McDermot came to the nestbox around 5am and he hung around after Ivy came by with a meal.  At 5pm, Fleet was at the nestbox and he hung around until after Ivy came to the box with food.  Bit of a trend going here ...

It isn't unusual not to have sightings - lots of birds just "vanish" and then reappear on nesting territories a couple (or many) years later.  Cowboy we saw for the first time 10 years after fledging, Hurricane, Alley, Chaos, Terminator turned up 2-3 years later and all have been very successful.

Be more worried if we do have lots of sightings, that can mean that the bird isn't developing their flying/hunting as quickly as they should or as quickly as their siblings.
