Radisson - 2012 / Ivy & Princess
RCF:
Looks like Princess is doing a lot of shuffling around with the eggs. Maybe there is going to be a hatch soon. :)

Baffled:
Some vigourous nest-cleaning going on right now by Princess.
She's almost face-first into the cam; I wonder if she's vacuumed herself right off the eggs? We're getting a lovely close-up of her "crown."
Edited to add: Yup, she's right off the eggs!

Plus multiple cameras at Brandon, multiple cams at West Winnipeg. Thank you Eye-spy our camera guy.
And for broadcasting capability thanks to CBC, Shaw and Westman. And for building cooperation and access, thank to the Radisson Hotel and the owners of the McKenzie Seeds building.
And THANK YOU TPC for keeping an eye on all of these cameras, making all of the arrangements with the sponsors and buildings, maintaining the forum, and EVERYTHING else. We know that this is volunteer work and that it has to fit in around your regular job. Good thing you can rest in the winter time (mostly..).

The Peregrine Chick:
--- Quote from: Liz on May 03, 2012, 19:29 ---TPC, is there a remote control on this camera? (to the left, to the left..) If not, then the angle is perfect to give a the most view.
--- End quote ---
Nope, no remote control on the inside-box-cam, the movement of the camera in the housing would freak the birds out - they already get freaked from time to time when they see their reflection in the camera on the lens, and the lens is the size of a quarter or smaller. There are four camera angles we have to choose from at the Radisson: inside-box, outside-box, ledge-cam and sky-cam. Sky-cam is remote-controlled, all the rest are fixed position cameras. They are much smaller so we can fit them in places that seem too small for a camera.
I'll see what the view from the outside-box cam looks tomorrow and switch over if it looks good - you will probably be saying "to the left" again, but that's where the birds plunk their eggs and there is nothing we can do about that one I'm afraid.
