How utterly fascinating!!  These little ones really do have a bit of a struggle to hatch!!  Totally awesome.  So we may see an eyas today, given Princess's behaviours of yesterday.  Perhaps there was a pip we saw (a white one size of Princess's dark eye). Now we can hold our breath and watch ..... :)

The Peregrine Chick:
Had a look at the eggs on both of the box cams over the last couple of shift changes and its hard to tell whether or not there is pip on an egg or two, but maybe - or it could just be darker spots on eggs that have faded (as they do) over the last month of incubation and rolling around on gravel ...

I saw that too, but then Princess shuffled and rolled the egg, so I am not sure about that.  I thought I had seen this on the egg yesterday.  But Princess gave the egg no special treatment like listening to it today.  hmmmmmmmmm, and we wait....
