Mealtime. Princess came in with food and push Ivy off so she could feed the three babes. Ivy's been back on the box edge once, almost like he's checking to see if more food will be required. Princess is also having a wee nibble when the kids lose track of the snack ... ;)

Princess is mellowing with age ... day two and Ivy is allowed to brood the chicks!!! Normally the little guy can't get near them for 3-4 days.

:D Three little flufflings trying to cuddle under Princess's breast feathers and playing peek-a-boo at the same time. Princess has quite the shuffle going on to accomodate them all and the egg too! oops, must not step on any little heads!! :)

Yes still only three flufflings! I just checked again and the one last hold-out egg is still taking its sweet ole time! :-\ Does not know what to do. Maybe its siblings can give it a little hint. Mama Princess is sure shuffling it around. Looks like she is getting impatient with this one too!! haha, such is motherhood! Will this one be the "runt" of the nestbox?? or does it catch up in size with the others?
