RCF:
Just had a peek at the kids, two were picking at something in front of the cam and sounded like two got up on the ledge.  :o

In my opinion, Princess is an icon!  She, is by far, the true definition of the ever so powerful and protective, Peregrine Falcon!

Princess is the ultimate super peregrine mum. In my extensive research into this subject, I have not been able to find any documentation that refutes this observation. One persons opinion, I have some great feeling about this.

How close are we to fledging?  I was trying to calculate how old they are... born May 12/13 (I think) which would make them 35 days old.  I can't remember fledge age... is it around 40 days?  Or sooner?   :-[

I remember last year the Radisson chicksters would climb up on their nest box front and side walls quite a while before they fledged.  None fell off and it would sort of be heart-stopping when they would wingersize up there!!  Sometimes they came close to toppling over but they never did.  The lone female chickster was hesitant to climb up there but finally choose the corner by the camera as her spot.  They would go for walks down the ledges too but would always return to the nestbox for the night. :D

I just remembered their names -- Beatrix, Cade, Carson and I think Fyfe was the one who crashed into a building and passed away.  Carson had quite the escapades going on too!

One of the chicks was bugging the other until he/she moved to a different spot.  ;D

OMGosh!!   I've been away this week with no computer.   The "babies" are huge!
Where did those big, long, dark feathers come from?
They'll be running down the ledge in no time.
