--- End quote ---

Caspian and Storm produced 4 eggs together and approximately 2 weeks into incubation, Storm was found dead and a new male was on the scene.  The first new male was a one year old and he was around about a week, during which time Caspian abandoned the eggs as she had no choice.  The next time Tracy went out, yet another male was on the scene, this one an adult.  He hasn't been positively ID'd yet as she only has part of the bands.  Anyway, this new adult male and Caspian then produced a second clutch, the one year old was no where to be found.  So ...the first clutch was a failed clutch and she reclutched with another male.

I was finally able to register on this site.  They have some really good information.  I just posted a link to falcon cams around the world in case anyone is interested.

The first clutch of 4 eggs (seen in the photo as being the much lighter in colour, bleached out by the sun while they were not being attended to during the territorial battles and the lack of a support male to help the resident female with her full time incubation duties) still remains,,, among the newly laid (much more vibrant rusty brown coloured eggs) that the resident adult female has just recently produced. This is a second clutch of 4 eggs!!!
