Hey! - The webcam took us on a tour of the roof and a view of the old nestbox - then back to the new box, and magically the 'walkabout' imp is back in the box with his brother!!!  ;D - Did somebody put him back? ???

Looks like our adventurer is having difficulty getting back in. What a difference the few centimeters make. There is the base of the nestbox, and the gravel base - so they start with a bit of an advantage.

Okay, the camera was just zooming out looking at scenery and now we are back to the nest box with two chicks in it.

Did someone go out and roundup the chick?

I'm glad. Would hate to see the little one out and about when there is a forecast for thunderstoms later (like we need those...).

My perception is all askew...........can't quite figure out the lay of the land there.  Not that it matters as long as Carson the adventurer gets back home and out of the wind.  Little rascal ;D

Awww, the poor little guy  :'(.  Sure hope he won't get caught in those camera cables... :-[

In case anyone is worried about the sun there isn't any, haven't seen the sun all morning it's just hot(24c) and very humid not the kind of a day I like! ::)

For those who aren't sure what they are seeing, the chick is at the back of box, against the wall napping where its cool.  The window-cam is looking through the gap and the black you see are the cables from the camera - we thought we'd store the extra length there so it would flap around.  I shoud note that I'm pretty sure the gap isn't large enough for the chick to get in, could be wrong, but I don't think so.
