--- Quote from: Leana on July 14, 2011, 19:29 ---Thanks for the info Rose.  I'm sure he'll be OK, just sad we (who only have the cam to watch) might not see him again.  But I trust RCF will get some photos for us and we will all wait in anticipation to see them.  And wait for your first hand reports...

You are very welcome. :)

Rain just paraded along the wall and exited stage right. :)

--- Quote from: Leana on July 14, 2011, 18:49 ---So are you guys saying that Rosser has quasi-fledged?  If I understand correctly (all those building descriptions are very confusing to someone who has never seen it!) he is now on a lower ledge and will probably fly out and away before flying back up?  Did I get that right?

--- End quote ---
Your guess is as good as mine Leana, he was on the black ledge and then he was not and only Rain was on the roof wall.As to where Rosser will fly is also unpredictable. You have to understand that Brandon is a tiny city with very few buildings that could be considered tall(highest is about 13 stories) and that would be stretching it.This is the first year there has been a camera of any kind on this nest. The chicks from previous years have fledged sucessfully on their own.It seems that the camera although very sucessful seems to be causing worry and angst for some of the viewers in spite of giving a lot of pleasure to all. :)

--- Quote from: LinderLou on July 14, 2011, 12:57 ---So Rose it sounds like Rosser will have to go to the annex first before he can get back to the rooftop. Is that correct? Rain is not going to happy with him not around. I hope it doesn't encourage him to try and fledge earlier than he should.

--- End quote ---
If he decides to go back to the roof, it would be straight up but really not that far in actual feet(The ledge is about the same level as the floor on the other side of the wall) but I get the feeling he really wants the wide open spaces but like a teenager he'll do what he wants to do and not listen to anybody. :)

This is what Rose explained to me.
