Poor wee birdie ... rain is pouring still (there is a stream that runs off the roof above the windowcam) and birdie is head down in the rain facing outwards.  Can't tell who it is by plumage because they are just too wet.  I think its Hurricane by the "blur" on her cheek patch.  But the bird is tucked up and head down and in its hard to be sure of the facial pattern ...

Its still raining like it was before , but for some reason, Hurricane isn't as wet as poor Brooklyn ... going to have to check exactly how long the poor guy was on duty this morning!

Maybe Hurricane 's feathers are more waterproof than Brooklyn's LOL ::)

Hurricane just took over in the next box from a very wet and bedraggled Brooklyn.  All four eggs are high and dry but he was a poor wee wet bird.  They are tucked into the corner under the roof as much as possible but with the wind there is absolutely no way either bird is going to be dry today while they are incubating.  These two are pretty good at short shifts in good weather, will be interesting to see if the same holds true in wet.

I bet Brooklyn goes and perches on one of the very top west windows of the McKenzie building, he would be out of the wind and rain...........where he has perched before on days like this.
