McKenzie Seeds - 2011 / Brooklyn & Hurricane
Kinderchick:
Sure does look windy up there in the nestbox. Not as protected as the Radisson nestbox, I guess.
--- Quote from: Rapidcitymbfan on May 30, 2011, 19:04 ---Earlier today I thought I'd have a look to see what birdie parts have been dropped around the south and west side of the McKenzie building...I saw a yellow headed black bird head, a black bird head of some kind (small), something that looked like a dove, black legs where the legs weren't long but the toes were, a couple sets of green winged teal wings and of course pigeon parts...

Very interesting sleuthing, rcf. ;)
RCF:
I guess it stopped raining and what looks like rain is the water dripping off the roof of the window cam. It still looks awfully windy for Hurricane.

Earlier today I thought I'd have a look to see what birdie parts have been dropped around the south and west side of the McKenzie building. Ya, I know EWWWWW..........doesn't bother me any!! Anyway, I saw a yellow headed black bird head, a black bird head of some kind (small), something that looked like a dove, black legs where the legs weren't long but the toes were, a couple sets of green winged teal wings and of course pigeon parts.
This was at 12:30pm and Brooklyn was perched on the south light staying somewhat out of the wind. I did see his feathers fluff up in the wind.
Doreen:
Yes poor Hurricane, hopefully the chicks stay in their eggs.
Moonstar:
I just tuned into the Brandon cam. Poor Hurricane. She is so wet...I hope she is not cold tho. I know they will be okay but I just feel so bad for her. We just need a break in this crappy weather.
