Jo:
Evening snack time. Looked like a small bird with long legs.

Both chicks very interested in the food and could hardly wait for parent to remove feathers.

Both chicks took a turn at the long leg. One chick had it in his/her mouth and was opening his/her mouth asking for more food from the parent. But it's hard to eat yummy chunks of bird when you have a leg in your mouth. :P

Parent finally reached over and pulled the long leg, put it aside and fed chick.

Jo:
Little chick pile in the corner. They are so white and fluffy compared to the Radisson chicks . . but I'm sure it won't be long before they start to get their dark feathers.

Rose:
Thanks TPc,right now these two are trying to be little Sumo wrestlers LOL

The Peregrine Chick:

--- Quote from: Rose on June 19, 2011, 18:45 ---Anyone notice that the window cam is frozen, the streaming bar keeps going across but the picture is frozen, three people have commented on CBC site and RCF said it was happening just before she left for Brandon about 4:00pm,maybe too many storms and another one predicted for this evening, Thank goodness the chicks are big enough to wade in the pool.

--- End quote ---

I noticed it too Rose.  When I checked from our side the streaming was fine, so its not the camera.  No problem with the Radisson Cam at the same time, so I'm not sure its a CBC streaming problem.  Maybe too much traffic on the Brandon Cam site?  Could be the Westman connection - problems related to the continued high water in Brandon?

Its 1912 hrs now and the image is streaming fine ... two chicks in the box, one trying to nap, the other lying on top of him/her and talking to someone ...

moka:
:-\ Well, at least it froze on a beautiful father's day scene. The arms are softly gathred around the chicks. :)
