There are two new pairs in town and about 4 migrating birds recently but the answer is "no".  Neither Princess nor Ivy are any more unsettled than usual.  And Princess and Ivy look just like Trey and Princess when they were incubating together.  Can't say that they look like Madame and Pop/Simba/Trey but that was because Madame was an entirely different kettle of fish!

The Brandon birds are about 10 days behind the Radisson and the only real difference is that the Radisson birds are bored in the box and keep looking for things to clean.  The Brandon birds have lots to clean but haven't really seen them doing much of it, perhaps they are waiting for the boredom factor to hit its zenith!

We hope so.  They have been so unsettled over the last couple of weeks that we have backed off plans to disturb where we think they are/considering nesting.  We just want them to lay and start incubating and then we can do what we need to.  When they start incubating they are less likely to abandon the site - and from last year, we know they are good at their job once they get down to doing it.  Its just the getting down to do it part.

The cool wet weather is also a time we try to avoid bugging any of our pairs ...
