Update on the chicks here ... one looks fine, the other does not I'm afraid.  We will just have to see what the next 24 hours holds ...

... Let's call these babies "Yippee" and "Skippee" until TPC names them properly ;D...
LOL! Great suggestion, susha! ;) A great big welcome to "Yippee" & "Skippee"! :D

How wonderful is this after such a nerve racking start to the season for these two? Winnipeg is a happening place for Peregrines. Maybe 3 nests next year?? It's all too exciting. Thank you TPC for keeping us in the loop. Your entries made me feel like I was actually watching as things unfolded.

Looking back through the video, looks like chick # 2 arrived at about 2325h yesterday ....

Yippee skippee, another chick to fuss over and worry about! We are so lucky this year, it seems that we are knee deep in peregrine babies ;D

I like it Moka!  Let's call these babies "Yippee" and "Skippee" until TPC names them properly ;D

Just a suggestion :-\

Just prior to the light going, it looked like egg 2 might have begun cracking along the mid-line, or it could be poop, hard to tell.  We'll have to wait until tomorrow to be sure I'm afraid.  Last meal fo the day was just after 2000hrs.

A "crack" or a "poop"?!?  I vote a "crack" - time for chick #2 to introduce him/herself!
