Yes, Moonstar, you're right, there was a meal (bird) laying on the ledge already this morning, before Cade flew in, according to my husband. May have been a food drop that had been made very early in the morning by a parent. :-\ Unless, of course, it was already there last night, which I hadn't noticed... Bird perched on the corner of the nestbox right now, sitting on "Cade's corner", so likely it's Cade! :D We may see lots of flying around today, while it is overcast and not so hot and humid. 8)
