Mother Hen:
Another quite day on the West side of the Radisson. Have seen one of them on the ariel a couple of times and one on the letter I and N...Not much flying today.

The Peregrine Chick:
There has been a bird at the Radisson on-and-off most of the morning.  I took advantage of a meeting downtown to take a side trip to clean some of Sandy's and Ty's autumn "snack" remains from the box.  Was only partially successful because the gravel is still frozen and some of the remains are frozen in place.  Hopefully with the sun this week, even though its cold, it will help to thaw out the box.  I should say that the gravel on the outside section of the box is frozen, the gravel at the back undercover isn't, so the frozen parts are due to the rain we had on the weekend and though solid at the moment, it won't damage the nestbox and shouldn't last very long.  It was only as I was finishing that the male turned up and had a yell at me.  His lady friend didn't appear, but I wasn't up there for very long.

Nope, not quite yet, but very soon.  Since the pair like the nestbox so much, we hopefully it won't take us too long to be able to identify who's around (still around) once we do have the cams back online.

birdnut:
I was downtown on Carlton between 6:00 and 7:30.  Somebirdie was on the west nesting box when I got there.  About 10 min later, it flew away.  About 6:45, I saw two birds flying about - north of the Rogers building, around the Hydro building and then back again.  Then about 10 mins later, one flew south and disappeared behind the Convention Centre.  By 7:30 it was getting dark and I did not see them again.
Have not seen any birdie at HSC for the last 2 days.

Noticed the work being done on the Rogers building - will this bother the birds?
