The Peregrine Chick:

bcbird:
Very glad for the nestbox to keep our dedicated Princess a bit more sheltered from the elements.

birdcamfan:
I guess we can always remember the time that Princess and Trey nested on the east side and were snowed on, 3 years ago I think. She looked soooo cold down there. This situation doesn't seem as bad in comparison. I'm glad she's tucked in to her shelter.

The Peregrine Chick:
Checked all the video and all the eggs are fine and still there.  Princess is back on the eggs and has her head planted inside the box and it looks like she is fully sheltered from the wind.  The box has snow but that won't last long tomorrow when the high is forecasted to be +12C.  For comparison, the high today was -2C not including the wind chill.

Princess has kept her eggs save through close to a week of snow and ice storms in the past on the nestledge.  She looked pathetic this morning as Dennis mentionned but the snow was blown in and isn't deep.  Will get a photo for y'all this evening.
