Thanks, Doreen! :D
ESP Chickita:
Someone had mentioned the adults hunt at Oak Hammock Marsh - I took my class there on a field trip in June and had asked the guide if they see the peregrines at all, and he said they didn't, that they rarely have a peregrine there. He has been at Oak Hammock for a long time, so Ijust assumed that he was right. I also looked at some stats they had posted, and there was only 1 peregrine sighting a few years back. He was very familiar with the cam though and had it on daily as well.

I hate to see the cam go off too but really, most of the time I'm looking at an empty ledge. They are around for about another two months so, if you can go downtown, there is still plenty of viewing! :) Sorry to those who can't.

Yes, indeed, Saoirse, you're an "old bird" now! Congrats! And on the Radisson bird thread, the last evening of the live streaming for this season. How wonderful! :D
Jazzerkins:
Hi everyone. Just got back into the Peg last night after being away since early on the 16th, only to hear that the cam is going dark tomorrow. I have just finished reading all the posts since I have been gone. Sounds as if the kids have been really busy and putting on some really great shows this past week. I, for one, still intend to go downtown to watch them, until they leave on their migration. Am really, really going to miss having the cam to watch when I cannot get downtown to watch them "in person". Hope some of you watchers will post on this forum when you will be going downtown so some of us can join you.
