The Peregrine Chick:
1308 hrs

Shift change and we still have eggs.  Ivy is fussing to get all the egglets under him but he's down pretty quick.

eagle63_1999:
Shift change, and when Ivy came in I was thinking oh my how is going to manage to get those eggs under him but he did, like a champ. Then when there are chicks it will be a challenge for him lol

The Peregrine Chick:
1250 hrs

Princess just had a re-arrange but could only see the front two eggs, but that means none of hatched yet.  Mom will make sure when a chick hatches that it gets up front where she can get it deep under her feathers.

But she is having a serious peer at them right now ...

susha:
A sunny and coolish day would be a good day to break out of the shell, I would think! ;)

Come on, Egg, Eggette, Egger and Esmerelda!  Break out and introduce your chickie selves! ::)

The Peregrine Chick:
1140 hrs

Princess is hunkered down on the eggs, no eggshells around her.  Her head is down in the gravel half the time, looking out of the box the other half.  Its very cloudy (dark cloudy) and cool today and damp, very damp though not raining yet.  She's lying parallel to the backwall of the box so she, Egg, Eggette, Egger and Esmerelda are all undercover will be dry when/if the rain starts up later.

Its 16C now, suppose to hit 20C.  Cloudy with 30% chance of rain today/tonight.  Wind is suppose to come up from the north later today and into tomorrow, but the box is sheltered so shouldn't be much/any problem for the birds.  Monday is suppose to be sunny with a high of only 14C (darn north winds).
