The Peregrine Chick:
Chicks hatch whenever they manage to get the shell to finally break open, there hasn't been a "usual" time.
Keep in mind that the chick has virtually no strength and has expended alot of effort getting out of the egg, so if you don't see a meal until tomorrow, don't panic, these two know what they are doing. ;)

That was the first thing I thought she was saying also!
