Beautiful video of these two falcon chicks who fledged off for the last time for the CBC cam.  Thanks for sharing it with us, rcm.  Will you also do more videos of the chicks as they get their flying/hunting skills?

Good points, Jazz -- actually, once the birds have flown the coop, sometimes they're not around the nestbox much so the on-the-ground reports are much better. No matter how good the camera angles are, they're not able to catch the flying displays when the birds are swooping around the various buildings.

Although the cam is gone for this year, there are still a lot of us watchers that will be going downtown to watch the birdies flying and hunting lessons and I am sure all will post what they see.  That way everyone can still get their "fix" until the birds leave for the winter.  Might not be quite as good as being able to turn the computer on any time just to check in and see what they are doing, but it is much better than not having anything.  A very heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in bringing us the cam so we could watch from the egg stage to the (almost) adult stage! :-* :D :)

Rats!  I still had the cam until 2:15 when my computer decided to shut itself down.  Now I've lost the pic too.  :( :(

Arrived home from shopping around 1015h, checked the cam. Was still on, then went dark and a message from CBC
took its place. This has been an incredible season. Thanks to all who made it possible. :-* We now rely on our phorum phriends to keep us posted. Will definitely make trips downtown to see the aerial shows and post what I see. Or.......maybe visit bccs on her balcony to watch the phlybys. LOL! :D ;)

For those of you on East side Radissson I saw  somebirdy (pretty sure it was Bea) sitting on the east nest ledge just before 7 this morning......so keep an eye open.
