I'll be in a meeting most of the morning so will miss TPC on the radio and won't be able to make it down to the banding either. But it'll be great to see the video! Hope all goes smoothly and without injury (injury to TPC, that is -- I think those beaks and talons are wicked!).

TPC will be on CBC 89.3 within the next hour to talk about the banding.

Looks like a good morning for it - 14 now with 17 for the morning

Big chick pile in the corner . . .getting all rested up for their big day

Last year I came down and watched as well,  and might make it down tomorrow. Where do you watch from, Portage or Graham?

He tried to rip it apart as fast as he could while trying to prevent the same chick from taking it away from him.  The chick did eventually win.  At that point Princess dropped in and Ivy gave up.  Poor Ivy!  Those chicks are getting so strong. They won't need their parents tearing their meals apart much longer. ;D

The plan is to tape the banding and ideally have it posted to our YouTube Channel within 24 hours ...

But Eye-Spy is our technical wizard so I'm going to defer to him as to how it will happen as I really don't know how he is going to rig the system for the event.
