;) Great photos, Dennis. Once again you have come through for us.  :-*

TPC, ES, Dennis, do you have a date when the banding video will be available on Youtube?  ???

Hopefully shortly!!!  Its 19 minutes long and that has been giving me problems ... but I may have them licked ...

I don't think we can call this a chick pile anymore... it's now a chick mountain!

Breakfast time. Three chicks are being fed and one is hanging out behind them (maybe to full from an earlier meal). One of the boys thought he was going to be cleaver, grabbed the chunk of food and took it to a corner. Parent went stomping after him and took it back and resumed feeding the group.

We have the outside view - looks like 2 boys and a girl that are eating.

6:41 - breakfast has now left the nest.

From this vantage point, the female is easy to distinguish from the males, with their darker feathers showing so clearly compared to her lighter ones.  Such a peaceful scene out on the balcony :) :)

Nice view of the 'outside' part of the nest - three chicks are sitting up and looking around - the fourth chick is flat out having a rest.

Yup - just tuned in and there's a melee going on!  Much more food obviously needed for this hungry bunch! ::)

Greedy little darlings aren't they now ... before it was burp-waddle-faceplant-nap - not so much now  ::)

Ivy (?) has his back to the outside world and looking in on the chicks. . . and occasional chewing on the metal part on the top of the nest  ::)

Love it :D

Yup, Ivy.  He seems to be the only adult who comes back to the nestbox other than to drop off food.  He does it most when its sunny/hot.  Considering that he can fly off into the shade anywhere in the City, that he comes back to hang out in the shade with the kids is definitely his little personality quirk.  That he's there right now on Father's Day just makes it cuter  :-*

Great videos RCF and wonderful photos from Dennis.

All 4 chicks against the back wall in that tiny strip of shade.

A bit of squawking . .. . . perhaps Princess has gone to pickup a bucket of pigeon for Father's Day dinner  ;)

yup, it was feeding time at the Radisson zoo.  ::)

They must take their dulcet tones (to quote tpc) from Princess.

I WANT FOOD AND I WANT IT NOW >:(

And now they're quietly relaxing together on the porch, waiting for the next go-round!

Heard a bunch of screeching and looked at the Raddison camera and there were two chicks fighting over food.  One won and ran off to a corner with it.  I guess Mom/Dad need to drop off more than one meal now.
