Had to check the playback to see what the little terror was up to ... for those who missed it, he was on the little edge that is flush up against the wall at the far end of the nestbox. So of all the edges to get up on, that one is/was the safest! (*whew*)
The Peregrine Chick:
I always find at this age that its harder to see them with their mostly dark feathers and some white bits. When there is shadow in the outside part of the box and they are all sitting there, it gets tough to tell where one ends and the next begins, like when they were very tiny. I do a lot of double checking the count needless to say! :o
