Welcome Suzy! It's always good to have new folks join us, especially "under these circumstances". It's always good to hear about people caring about our beautiful birds and caring about their welfare.
I think the birds are getting more and more gorgeous and I love to hear about others falling in love with them! :-*

Thanks Susha! The birds are so beautiful and it's impossible not to fall in love with them. It's too bad that our time with them is so short before they leave the nest. This year has been so hard watching the tragedies with the Radisson and Brandon chicks, I really felt like I needed to interact with this wonderful group of people.

Cade had been patiently sitting outside in the nestbox (not on the edge) then quietly turned around and walked into the box and lay down with his sister. Every big chicks need a chick pile sometimes I guess ...
... oops, that didn't last long, he's back out having a look around, now on the edge preening ... all golden in the westering sun ...
