I second that! Thank all of you for the wonderful first hand reports... but now I feel even more disappointed in myself for not being able to be there with you! It would have truly been an experience of a lifetime. Still saying prayers that Cade has found himself a safe spot for now and that he can be located soon. Hope to joing the fledgewatch crew tomorrow night or Thursday.

a little news: my daughter Leanne who works for the Downtown Biz has spotted a young falcon chick, who could only be Cade on the Free Press Bldg. He is there right now at the top by a vent on the northwest side. She's very famialiar with the falcon's and the project so I trust she is confident of what she is seeing. I'd like to let TPC know this but am not sure how to reach her. Or perhaps she already knows and can see him from the cam??

Thanks for the updates on the fledging!! If you are like me you keep up with falcons around the world.
In Oakland, Calif. falcons nested on a bridge. The mother was found shot with pellets in her wing and body and 10 days later one of her offsprings (three months old) was found with the same injuries. The state game warden is offering $1,000 reward hoping it will lead to an arrest. Both birds are in stable condition, but its not known if they will fly again.
