That old building has Winnipeg Free Press permanently engraved on it so we tend to still call it that. Just seems too beautiful to be a government office, I used to love going in there back in the day (but I'm not that old, really) ;) back in the day when I was a kid, so not that long ago ;) ;)

Wow what a day and night! I was scared to log on tonight for fear of what I might read. I'm so happy that Carson was found and was okay. Now hoping for a speedy recovery. And then to read about Cade! Glad to hear that he was spotted and that he seems to be okay.
This forum and the people on it are so amazing to me. Thank you to all for the ongoing information you provide and all the work you do. It is appreciated beyond words.
Regarding the situation in Oakland, I hope that the person(s) who injured the birds is found and arrested asap. It's disgusting that anyone would do that. Also wishing a speedy and full recovery for the birds there.
