Thanks for the welcomes. :) Glad that Carson is ok. They do an awesome job at Wildlife Haven. I am glad that they were talking about what to do when you see a fledgling....education people about wildlife is important.

The sun has hit the front of the nestbox and Beatrix has headed inside to lie down and keep cooler ... so far, she hasn't found a spot she likes ... might prompt her to try her luck and jump down on the ledge where she will just have nice clean cooler concrete to lie on ... for awhile at least ...
... she's down again in the back left corner ... now up again ... and down again ...

Just heard, on CBC, the supervisor from Wildlife Haven, talking about fledglings in general - what to do when you see one, etc. - and about the star in their center right now, Carson! Says he's doing very well ;D
