Great to hear a report that birds have been sighted.

Jazzerkins:
Some one just arrived "home" at the nestbox.

Kinderchick:
Was out and about today and decided to stop in downtown for a little while to do some fledgewatching. Bumped into Saoirse on the street and we decided to check out things from "Fyfe's parkade" (more commonly known as City Place parkade, I think). While there, Pam bumped into us on the roof of the parkade and we all saw Princess perched on the Manitoba Hydro logo and Ivy perched on the "n" of the Manitoba Hydro words. So we knew that the juvies must be close by. :D Saoirse & I took a walk over to the Radisson parkade and after watching from the top floor of the parkade for about half an hour, we finally saw one of the juvies perched on the top of a cement protrusion on top of the Air Canada Bldg., with his/her tail feathers sticking out. Not sure which bird it was, but definitely one of the Radisson chicks. 8)

Saoirse:
Just got home from downtown. Ran into Kinderchick on Portage and, from there, we could see a parent on the "n" of the Manitoba Hydro sign, so we headed for the parkade to see if we could spot anyone on a rooftop. At that point, Kinderchick was positive she'd seen one on the roof of the Air Canada building. While on the parkade, Pam came along, and her keen eye spotted another adult, probably Princess, on the logo of the Manitoba Hydro sign. After scanning the rooftops and coming up empty, Kinderchick and I went up to the Radisson parkade to look from there. At first, nothing, but then we spotted one of the fledglings on the roof of the Air Canada building (northeast corner). So, two adults and one chick accounted for -- possibly two, because Kinderchick was sure she'd seen another chick at the opposite end of the Air Canada building (southwest corner). Nobody was flying, but maybe later!
