It does, sort of. Since both genders make scrapes, it doesn't necessarily follow that there will definitely mean their will be eggs. Trey could be making scrapes and Princess has had enough of all this, or vice versa. It was very quiet at the nestsite when we were there, but it was very quiet in the couple of days before the first egg was laid. Not that I'm being optimistic, just factual. Could be quiet because they are off the breeding list for this year. We will just have to wait.

Okay, here's an update because I haven't posted to the blog yet ... as of Friday afternoon, no re-nesting. Trey was on-site, sitting on the letters of the east-side Radisson sign. I think there were some posts around 3pm (local time) of folks seeing Trey bolt from the sign, that would have been because of us. Dennis Swayze and Dr. Bob Nero joined me on the roof when I went to check the box. The scrape is in the nestbox (I have a photo, actually a few) of the the scrape) which I will be posting on the blog when I upload those entries. Will be checking again tomorrow as we will then be past the two week point. Will probably give them a few more days before saying we are probably out of luck so for all of you with crossed-finger-itis, only a couple more days. I won't be checking them on Tuesday as we are off to band the Brandon chicks that day. I will promise to post photos as soon as I can get them off my camera - and I'm sure Dennis will have a few that he will let us add to the Gallery!

Not flying hamsters, cats, dogs, squirrels.. ??? - well since Tracy was silent today - either she didn't check yet - or she did and nothing was there but she didn't want to upset our day. I vote for the former. She'll check on Sunday!! Night all!! ;D
