Mother Hen:
Well I for one am still hoping for at least one  chick!!

ballywing:
Very true Deedreem - if we had our way, she'd be checking morning and night every day!  :P I guess she'll check tomorrow, and if there's nothing - we may be out of luck. Princess & Trey did have a rough season this year, they're strong resilient birds, but we can only expect so much from them.... - That said, still a couple days to hope so fingers & toes still crossed!!!!  ;D

Absoutely deedream, can't blame them if they don't renest.

On my way to the grocery store I noticed a couple of fledgeling House Sparrows, they still had a touch of down on them.  I stood and watched them for a few minutes.  I'm sure people must have been wondering why I was staring at a construction site lmao

deedream:
I was thinking the same thing eagle.  About Tracy being so busy. I am sure that is it.  Further if she went and there was nothing, we would all be wanting her to go check again today, and tomorrow. IMHO.  She did say there was a couple more days and then that would be that for this year.  Maybe if she waits and gos tomorrow that is the maximum time that Trey and Princess should have renested or not.
Now with Motherhen saying that she seen one of them in the nestbox in the corner, I am hopeful.  Could be just having a nap though!  I mean we sure cant blame the birds if they dont renest!  Goodness what a rough spring they had.

eagle63_1999:
A new day has arrived, no nasty weather forecast for today.  Today is the day the chicks in Brandon, Manitoba get banded.  Maybe we'll here from Tracy this afternoon or evening.  I suspect she's been extremely busy which is why we haven't heard any updates given that she volunteers her time to this Project.  I hope you all have a good day.
