--- Quote from: bcbird on July 03, 2008, 15:31 --- Does this mean there are some photos to see right now, while we wait, or do we have to wait for the photos, too?

--- End quote ---

'Fraid you have to wait for me to pull the photos off my camera and to find the ones I like from Dennis' bunch (yes, he is a co-conspirator).  Even worse, we have some video too (blame Larry) but I have to learn how to convert it first (thanks Grelber for helping me with this!)

--- Quote from: ballywing on July 03, 2008, 15:43 --- If nothing else, we Phanatics have learned that we must have patience for SO many things!!! - Nesting, Hatching, Feeding, Flying, Cam repairs, News updates... ::) - Sounds like this story is going to be a good one! At least we only have to wait til tonight!  ;D

Story is too long for me to tell it all tonight, will post it in day-by-day chunks - have the first couple of days revised/edited for coherence already ...

The Peregrine Chick:

--- Quote from: Pam on July 03, 2008, 17:05 ---Princess (I've changed my mind, and do not think it was Trey.....) sat across from me on a ledge for a few hours this afternoon.  Sitting quietly, often one leg up (purple band on the right and green on the left - is that right, Tracy?) and one eyelid closed.  Hard to keep my mind on my work.......

Purple band is definitely Princess.  The US uses a purple aluminium FWS band these days, we us a silver band.  Her other band is bicoloured black over green indicating that she is a Midwest US bird.  Our bands are black (wild-hatched) or red (captive-bred).

JL:
If there are peregrines flying around my work building, I'd be fired for non-performance for sure!   ;D
