--- Quote ---Dennis lets me go through his photos to pick a few for the exclusive use of the Project. Unfortunately for Dennis, who really wants to post right away, I usually have a ton of stuff to do and don't get through them as quickly as I (and he) would like!!! And Dennis, I'm almost done with the all!!!! :D

Third territory is centred on the University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus.

That's right close to you isn't it! Nice! When was the last time that territory had any activity? And how large is a territory (approximately)?
The Peregrine Chick:
--- Quote from: bev. on July 06, 2008, 22:23 ---Liz, the female that lost her site last year has a transmitter on her back and they can track her. they track her migration route every year. we know where she migrates to and on the way back we know approx time of arrival in our area
We knew that the night before she hit the nest site she spent the night in red deer (i.5 hours away)
That is how I know where she is roosting now. We actually went where she went last year and she was there but the tracker told the biologists where she was before that.
I still cannot get the pictures to enlarge, or do they??
am I allowed to post a picture of her here so you can see the transmitter???

the photo size is limited, but I have a photo of a bird with a transmitter at work and I'll post it in the photo gallery tomorrow and post a link in the Edmonton birds thread ...
