Enraptured:

--- Quote from: teamla on May 27, 2008, 16:40 ---Who would have guessed that I would spend so much time squinting to look at spots on eggs under a falcon's butt?  Sigh...  ;D

--- End quote ---

Hee Hee! So true!  I'm glad I'm not the only one who's amazed at how sucked in I am...and so invested!   And really, because we know as soon as we look away something exciting will happen and this forum of interesting reading to keep up with, who has time for anything else!?

Princess kind of lifted herself up a bit and looked alert for a moment, so I'm wondering if things are continuing on under there, despite the time of day...

The Peregrine Chick:

--- Quote from: bev. on May 27, 2008, 16:59 ---Tracy, how close are they  to the nest box?
--- End quote ---

This year's nest is on the east-side of the building on a ledge on the 13th floor level.  The nestbox is on the 30th floor on the west-side of the building.  So not very close I'm afraid.

The Peregrine Chick:

--- Quote from: skygirlblue on May 27, 2008, 16:42 ---She's pretty wiggly...Tracy, could you go stick your head out the window and see if you hear anything?   ;D

--- End quote ---

Couldn't if I wanted to SGB!  I'm at the other end of the City.  Heck, even if I was as close as I could get, I wouldn't hear anything from the chicks, too much noise in the downtown area and I wouldn't be able to get close enough.

As for "overaging", that will be easy to spot - they will be abandonned or "disappeared" by the adults.  If that happened, it would cross-fingers for 10-14 days to see if they re-nest.

Think happy thoughts that tomorrow will bring white fuzzies for your all to ooo and aww over  ;D

Cross your fingers for tomorrow.
YOu are all waiting for a hatch and we are waiting to see if we have egg number 3

skygirlblue:
I don't know at what point we start to worry....I'm sure Tracy will tell us.  I don't think they overage...it would just mean that they aren't viable, for whatever reason..
