Liz:
It was great!  And no, we didn't eat or drink.  lol

We were outside the whole time, in front of Mountain Equipment, as Pam said.  Occasionally (sp?) in the way of people getting their bikes off the racks, but most of them just went around us (5-point turns!) and left us alone.  And Dennis was secretly standing halfway down the block taking photos of us.  And, we didn't see P&T, but we sure learned a lot in that 45 mins we spent together -- thanks, TPC!!!  I assume the no-posting was as speculated -- we all had to go back to work and make up for our extra long lunch-time.  But it was well worth it!!!

So yes, we need to organize a get-together for those who don't work downtown and want to come for an after-5 visit.  I can't do it the rest of this week (Cirque de Soleil tomorrow!!), but next week is totally open; pretty much anytime until Aug. 8.  Not that I have to be there...  lol -- you can do this w/o me.  But I'm happy to help organize it.  And I know any of the rest of us who don't have to leave the area after work (rides home) will be happy to meet you!  What works for the non-downtown group?  Tracy suggested meeting for dinner.

Heck, Dennis, I forgot to ask you for a look at your camera!

Pam:
It was lots of fun, and very informative.  I'm sure there were more than a few folks wondering why we were having this 'outside forum' going on in front of Mountain Equipment Coop & especially why it warranted our very own photographer!
I had another look at the sign back at work and am really not sure if it was Princess or Trey - Tracy did tell us which side of the sign they each prefer - guess I'm not a very good student!  Definitely a peregrine, and on the right-hand side under the "N" - so, Tracy, what do you think??

carly:
So glad you all had a good time and got to meet each other  :D  P&T were probably hiding and pointing at you going..look it's them - the humans, the ones that spy on us..let's play hide and seek with them!

--- Quote from: The Peregrine Chick on July 09, 2008, 17:17 ---TV and radio stations use webcams located all around the City to monitor the traffic flow during the rush hours - morning and evening.  They can manipulate the camera to look at different locations.  During the peregrine season, I use the camera as well to spy on the peregrines at the Radisson.  Sometimes we are each tugging on the camera - they want to see the Provencher Bridge, I want to see the letter R on the Radisson sign!!

That is very interesting.  Do you personally manipulate the camera online, or do you have to put in a request?
