Radisson - 2008 / Trey & Princess
Liz:
"Curfew! And because I said so. I'm the MUM!!! I don't care if the other kids are still out playing. If they jumped off a bridge,..."
Liz:
"Get in here, dammit!!"
Enraptured:
Wow! A few minutes ago I watched Princess (two positions prior to this one) pull a chick under her as she was settling the all in the most forceful way I've ever seen either P or T do! I had to laugh at her determination to be the boss. She is amazing in all that wind. Seems like everytime I log on, it's blowing a gale.
Catching up on another observation from earlier today because I've had trouble accessing the forum the past few days....
Trey had left the chicks and eventually returned with food, but while he was gone it sure looked like 'sibling rivalry' between two of the chicks! They were pecking at each other and at times doing it over the third chick resting in between them.... Is pecking each other know to be a thing of good will or more of a "I'm tired of being stuck witt you in these tight quarters and I can't get comfortable" sibling rivalry type thing?
Liz:
I guess that's Princess on duty now. She's at a different angle than Trey was, and seems to be getting less blown. Well... maybe not. She sure is doing a lot of rocking!
Liz:
Yeah, they really have grown! And poor Trey, feathers flapping all over the place. The trees aren't really moving much outside (altho I am getting a nice breeze every so often thru my window), so it gives you an idea of the windtunnel effect we have downtown here. The hotel is only three blocks from Portage & Main, which some call the windiest corner in N. America.
