Grelber posted this link to a good picture of the site.
http://www.panoramio.com/photos/original/558983.jpgTake a look at it to see what rescue really requires. They are over the little window sticking out of the wall facing the camera.
The drains are working some, the bubbles from raindrops hitting the pool head into the drain. Unfortunately man made drains get clogged - just think about the street drains until all the last autumn leaves have all been disposed of. These drains are having to deal with a family of falcons, feathers from the family and dinner, etc., as well as run off from the side of the building above the roof.
Let's follow what Tracy asked:
Am attempting to organize rescue of chicks under difficult environmental conditions. Will let you all know what happens as and when I have time.
Please do not contact CBC, Radisson Hotel, Manitoba Conservation or myself. We are all working on it as fast as we can.

If a rescue is attempted, please pray for those going out into the rain and wind gusts that high up. Think about what the family of whomever goes would feel, having a loved one in danger to try to save hatchlings. Let's send prayers and most of all not let our concerns for the hatchlings make the situation more dangerous or harder for anyone else.
