Alison:
2016 NESTING SEASON

The resident female at this site was born at the Grand Haven, Michigan nest in 2008. She is banded black/green *P/*S, and as far as I know she is unnamed.

Since there is no inside view of the nest at the moment, I don't know if there are eggs here yet.

Winter at Presque Isle (these pics are from today, April 6):

The Peregrine Chick:
2014 NESTING SEASON

From Greg at WE Energies ...

With the cold winter, I wasn’t surprised that I didn’t spot a peregrine in the nest box here until Feb. 22. Last year, the first sighting was on Feb. 12. Scot Stewart reported an observer witnessing an eagle attack a long-tailed duck near the plant on Feb. 23 only to be driven off by a peregrine!  The first egg was laid here on April 10 last year.

The link is the same for several webcams - Oak Creek, Pleasant Prairie, Valley Power, etc. Presque Isle is the third heading from the top, after the two Oak Creek nests. Pics are updated just once an hour - click on any of the times listed to see the pics.

There is ongoing activity at the nest, which is encouraging. Perhaps the falcons have a nest close by, and are using the nest box as a place to feed and/or as a lookout.

There was a pair at the nest today:

Nope - just having problems posting, so couldn't add the link:
