MN / Minneapolis - Multifoods Tower - 2010-22
Alison:
The resident male, Triumph (banded black/red 58/P), has not yet returned to his nest at Multifoods, but another male has arrived. There is still time for Triumph to return, and I hope he will.
As of March 20:
At the Multifood Tower nest box high above downtown Minneapolis, the identity of the tierce has been verified to be 5-year old "Morse", who is new to this site. Only time will tell if the usual resident male, "Triumph" will return and try to reclaim this top-notch territory. The female has yet to be identified.
Morse, born at the City Hall Minneapolis nest in 2014, is banded black/red N/45. His father is Bor, banded black/green 03/N, born at the Monticello Plant nest in 2003, and his mother is Dot, banded black/green M/56, born in 2007 at the Black Dog nest site.
RCF:
I didn't know where else to put this. ???
New male at the Multifoods tower, Minneapolis. This is a 2 year old male that fledged from Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The band number looks to be black/red H/78 or 79.

Alison:
Triumph and Genie have three chicks this year, and today the chicks were banded. All three are male.
Triumph with his chicks:
Genie (or Geanie, according to today's spelling); she is gorgeous.

Alison:
It has now been confirmed by Jackie Fallon that Triumph and Genie are still the resident pair.
They are incubating four eggs.
