Well, I was quite surprised to see a falcon perched up on the north side of the Scotia building today, I thought they had all left.       It was Hurricane, she was preening her lovely self.  Whenever the camera comes into focus it makes a little beep and seems to get Hurricane's attention, she stops what she's doing and looks around or directly at me. 

This is the crabby look that I know for sure is Hurricane

A sad time for Rose and RCF  , but happiness and hope, I'm sure, that the birds they've watched so dilligently and loyally will return in the spring to begin another family.  Safe migration Hurricane and Brooklyn!

Just back from tour of down town,no birdies seen

... We enjoy watching the falcons.......I guess you could say they are part of our family.

Had strict instructions to go down town this morning and check for birdies so I have. As of 11:00 am, I didn't see anyone except flying kraft dinner starting to settle on parts of the McK.building.I checked all the hiding places and no one...

   

Sadly, I did not see any of our falcons today either.
