1504 hrs (local) - the WW nestbox is fully in the shade and all the kids are panting but out of the sun.  Mom is sitting on the edge of the ledge with her tail in the box.  The clouds in the background (west) are really quite amazing!

Thanks for the reports TPC, it's great to know that the Jules and Beau and babies are doing so well!  She had such a rough start this year losing her mate to another but now she's got a new 'beau' and her own babies...Ivy who? I bet she'd say if she could talk  :P ;)

The chicks are snoozing all in a row in the sunlight (yes there is sun in western Winnipeg right now) and look fat and happy.  Starting to see little bits of brown feathers through the white ... the babies are growing up  :'(

Well, it really ends up with the same result, you lose whatever was on it in the first place ;) ;)

The kiddies are growing up and moving around nicely.  I'm downloading alot of video at the moment (before it gets taped over) so I should have a lot of new clips for the video gallery in the next few days.  All three chicks look fine and Jules and Beau have definitely worked out what goes where and when and how.  Can't tell the gender of the chicks yet, still too young ...

On my way home from Brandon, I decided to swing by and see if I could spot the W.W. birds.
Sure enough, one on a ledge looking into the nest box, the other not too far away.
I couldn't tell which was which, all I saw was their backs. Good enough for me. ;D
