West Winnipeg - 2010 / Beau & Jules

These West Winnipeg Chicks are a real family unit...for the past few day's they return to the nest box...cuddle up and call it a night !
The Peregrine Chick:
2115 hrs (local) - all the kiddies have been back at the nestbox for the last 1/2 hour - sitting on the box roof and on the roof edges that surround the nestbox. During the rain both the girls were napping on their tummies in the back corner of the box out of the rain. They are very much still the three musketeers - one goes, they all go, one comes back, they all come back. And none of the stealing food and nibbling on toes and beaks that was so very much the norm this year at the Radisson. They are a very cute bunch.
The Peregrine Chick:
1448 hrs (local) - two of the three kids are back in the nestbox keeping out of the rain. Came scooting back along the ledges, it was very cute. Not sure where the third one is hanging out, maybe under the box or its taking them a bit longer to come back along the "birdie high-way" ;)
bccs:
First day of fledge watch here. Nothing much happening, very little flapping, but lots of walking along the edge. The kids would yak their heads off whenever an adult was in sight, "bring me food ". Saw a feeding, and heard the feeding, more yelling from the kids. ;D. Jules and Beau were around most of the time and he was doing a bit of yelling too.
Hanging out with Pam and Dennis, the best !!! They both took tons of pictures and I'm quite sure they'll be posting some soon.
