They were just roosting for the night, they were there during a very strong east wind storm just before sunset and were gone before sunrise the next morning. No way to read band numbers - heck, don't even know if they had bands! As for nesting somewhere else, chances are slim, too late in the year. Probably young/non-breeding birds passing through on their way to/from marshes/lakes.

Oh ...the cam is gone :( thanks to CBC Shaw and Tracy for providing such great viewing of the falcon family..awesome experience :-*..........thanks to all the fledge watchers for keeping us informed as to what the birds were up to even though we couldn't see them.Your detailed accounting of the events were wonderful :-*......Really will miss logging on in the am and seeing the birds :(....stay safe falcon family and a great big wish for Princess & Trey to return again next year :-*......Have a safe and happy summer everyone :-*

Thanks CBC and Shaw and TPC for giving us the opportunity to peek into the world of the peregrines. The more time we spend with these majestic birds, the more we become aware of the importance of ensuring the long-term survival of the peregrines.
