Nope, that's why the "rabbit ears"   ;D
But the/he is sitting in Trey's favourite spot ...

eagle63_1999:
So you've identified positively that it is Trey?

The Peregrine Chick:
12:37 - "Trey" is back on the Paris Building and doing some major preening - good sign that something edible met a sudden demise ...

12:00 - "Trey" has gone from the Paris Building, hopefully gone to slaughter something for himself and/or his lady love.

The Peregrine Chick:
Okay, its 11:30pm and it looks like His Highness is parked on the ornamental cornice on the Paris Building - he sits on the cherubic figure's head  (and poops on his feet  ;) )

He is very visible if you are on Portage or if you work at Portage and Main.  Look directly west from P&M - building is on the NW corner of Portage and Garry.  Cornice is top of the building right on the corner.  He usually faces east, so look for a black head and white breast.

Check out the Photo Gallery for more images ...

The Peregrine Chick:
Just to confirm, we did have a bird sitting on the J of the JR sign on the 26th, sitting right beside a pile of snow in fact.  I have a grainy photo that I will post shortly.

Haven't seen anyone on the east side yet, thought I might since its sunny and warm and the kids do like sit in the sun in the morning. Hopefully they will turn up today - no wind so the spycam is stable and most of the ice has fallen/thawed off now.  If they would cooperate, I could actually get band numbers!!!!

We (Dennis, Larry & I) will be on the roof this weekend doing some work on the cams, boxes, etc, etc.  Well, Larry and I will be working (Larry will be snorting and rolling his eyes, I'm more there as entertainment  ;D than assistance) Dennis will have his new humongous lens and speedy camera, so there is every possibility that we could get some really great photos that could help us with our identification.

I will be posting what photos I have collected from the last couple of days sometime today.  Included will be my collection of "cam art", that is, what the spy cam sees when the environmental casing is coated in ice - kinda cool actually.

Going back to check the spycam now ...
