It seems that everyone has this "quoting" thing figured out but me....What the??

Wow, this is so fascinating!  I LOVE family tree stuff!  (Got my mum's maternal side back to the 1700s.)  I'm so glad the names all have cool reasons, and seem to prove themselves correct.  (Still reading...)

At about 4:45 pm...there was a peregrine perched on the edge of the west side nestbox...just hangin' out!!!
Could this be the spot?  Come on you two (if it's the two we want them to be), follow your pattern and nest on the West  :D

The Peregrine Chick:
Its 1359 hrs here and a bird is sitting and twitching (probably preening and looking around alot - the image is grainy at this distance) on the JR sign - J foot and looks large enough to be Herself.  She's been there awhile.  First time I've seen her on this side, I think, this year.  She's being very patient.  Trey and Princess were starting to copulate by this point last year, so that my be why she's there.  Himself right now is now of his obvious or visible hang-outs.

As for sound, Larry is working on it but its a case of our technological needs given the set up at the nestbox.  We need it small with self-contained power and it has to be able to "talk" with the rest of our infrastructure.  It is one of the reasons we weren't able to do a blitz of work on the roof this weekend.  Hopefully we will have it all sorted in the next seven days.  Will keep you all in the loop (of course).

ballywing:
Well I sure hope there is NO interest in that nest ledge, other than for short siestas!!! :o - VERY interesting to know how the chicks have been named, TPC - and a family tree will be really handy to get a better picture of the past! (B4 Phanatics Forum)  ;D....Can't wait til the webcam is up & running and I think TPC said we may  have 'SOUND' this year?? - Awesome!!  8)- In the meantime there was a falcon in the Elk River nest a few min ago!! I heard the 'chupping' sounds and came running!
